The turndown by Zidane will be yet another dagger in the chest for the Bavarians with the likes of Xabi Alonso, Julian Nagelsmann and Ralf Rangnick having already turned down the job. Bayern have also been reported to be thinking about making a U-turn on the Tuchel situation, however, they have outright denied the same.
WHAT NEXT FOR BAYERN?
While the leadership of the club will be hard at work as they look for a fitting replacement for Tuchel, the German coach will be preparing his side for their second-leg clash against Real Madrid on Wednesday, May 8 as they look to make it to the Champions League final at Wembley.
