Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney-owned Wrexham slammed rivals Accrington Stanley for hiking the ticket prices by £5 for their League Two clash against the Red Dragons. As a mark of protest, the Welsh outfit announced on X that they will in turn slash the ticket price by £5 at Racecourse ground when Accrington visit them for the reverse fixture.

Star players James McClean and Jacob Mendy are set to miss the important clash as they have been called up by their national teams, the Republic of Ireland and Gambia, respectively.
Despite missing two important players, coach Phil Parkison remained positive ahead of the match as he lauded the club's togetherness.
WHAT WREXHAM SAID
Addressing the issue on X, Wrexham wrote, "In response to Accrington Stanley's decision to increase the matchday price by £5 from that previously charged at Wham Stadium for league games this season, we have decided to reduce the price of matchday tickets by £5 for the return game at the Racecourse on 02/03/2023."
