Following his refusal to sign a new contract at Manchester United, the Daily Express have reported that Marouane Fellaini is a transfer target for Arsenal net summer.
The Belgian international, who is valued at £10.8million by Transfermarkt, has reportedly turned down a £120,000-a-week extension to stay at Old Trafford, meaning that if his contract situation is not resolved by January, he will be eligible to speak to other clubs.
And one of the clubs hoping to speak to the 29-year-old are Arsenal, who would be able to sign Fellaini on a free at the end of the season.
A divisive footballer, Fellaini has had a fairly decent start to the campaign, scoring four goals in 10 appearances for Manchester United. The club offering the Belgian a new deal is an indication of his improvements over recent months.
However, despite his improved form, Arsenal fans are certainly not excited about the prospect of having Fellaini at the Emirates and took to Twitter to express their displeasure…
