Chelsea star Sam Kerr has lauded team-mate Guro Reiten's "incredible" goal in their 2-0 Women's Super League win over Manchester City.

Two late goals from Mayra Ramirez and Reiten secured Chelsea a huge victory over WSL title rivals City at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. After the match, the Norwegian international toasted an "amazing night" for the Blues, and the injured Kerr was quick to praise her team-mate.

Alongside several photos of the win over City, Reiten wrote on Instagram: "Amazing night at Stamford Bridge."
Kerr then commented on the post: "Incredible goal my friend."

The result saw Chelsea leapfrog City into first place in the WSL with a two-point lead and a game in hand. And Kerr, who has been out with an anterior cruciate ligament injury since January, could return later this season to bolster Chelsea's title charge, too.
