The Blues had been looking to offload the centre-back, who came through their youth academy, even reportedly going so far as to banish him from the senior team's training facilities after new coach Enzo Maresca deemed him surplus to requirements.
WHAT TREVOH CHALOBAH SAID
After completing the move to Selhurst Park, the defender told the club's official website, "I'm delighted to join an ambitious club like Crystal Palace. I know some of the boys in the squad well and I'm looking forward to playing alongside them in front of the amazing support at Selhurst Park."

Chalobah remains contracted to Chelsea until 2028 and has made 80 first-team appearances since making his debut in the 2021-22 campaign. He managed to feature in just 13 Premier League games last season, though, as an injury kept him out until February.
